Walking in Carlow with the John Murray RTE Radio 1 Programme and the Bunclody Loafers Walking Group

The Bunclody Loafers Walking Group in conjunction with the John Murray RTE Radio 1 programme is hosting a walk in Bunclody next Sunday 26th February.  Walkers gather for 11.30am and you will be directed to parking by Traffic Stewarts. There will be no need to register.  The walk will set off at 12 noon.  It will be a little over 2 hours long but including a 30 minute break for food and music.  It should be finished by 3pm.  The route will be John's Hill Walk, that starts on the road from Bunclody to Mount Leinster at a place called Deerpark New. The return will be to the Carlton Millrace Hotel for soup and craic and this will be provided free of charge. RTE Nationwide TV Show will be filming the walk and the Sunday Times Newspaper will be launching a new Irish Version magazine with a profile of the walk.

Sounds like fun and as the walk is in Carlow it is great that its beauty will be exposed to a wider audience so it would be great to get out and support it.
